Peg and family, our condolences and prayers to you all. So sorry to hear about Joe. He was a great guy, plumber and know he’ll be missed. I remember shooting trap with Joe at the house with a mechanical trap machine. His love for trap and tractors were so strong. May God be with you all. Godspeed Joe and keep your powder dry.

Joe was such a very good friend. I have known him most of my life and felt he was like a family member. We shot trap together for many years. Peggy also gave me such a warm welcome and hug whenever I came to visit them. I will surely miss him and we will meet again in the next life Joe.

Peg and family, Kay and I send our condolences. Joe was an inspiration to me with his homesteading accomplishments. He also helped me by sawing lumber for my house back in the '70s and holding the mortgage when we purchased property from him. I'll always remember the pet raccoon he had. It would jump on your lap and check all your pockets to see what it could find and tussle with the dog. Joe was the best!

Jim, Dave and family. We're sorry to hear of your father's passing. I was very young but remember him building a part, or maybe whole addition at my parents house in the late 60's. My Dad always liked him and Joe was there when needed. Prayers to all.

I have many happy memories of Joe from when I was younger. He treated my family very well. When my parents were rebuilding their house he cut the wood for it on his sawmill. Also he used to let us go swimming on their dock on Tuscarora Reservoir. He was a good friend and will be missed.
