Nancy, I was so sorry to find out about your accident and your death. Alan told us about Tobe’s efforts to help you. That is a testament to the love and care you gave her. You will be missed.

I am so sorry to read about the loss of your loved one and I wanted to extend my condolences to your family. We are encouraged by the fact that God knows and feels our pain. We are encouraged to "throw our burdens on him and he will sustain us" (Psalm 55:22). Although there are tears of grief today, God promises a joyful tomorrow without death, mourning, pain, tears or sorrow (Revelation 21:4). He also promises a resurrection to life for our loved ones who have died (John 5:28,29).

I called Nancy "Friend" since I first became a member of the garden club in early 2000. She was by then a long time member. We spoke often about club matters, the days we served on the board together and the changes in the club over the years. She spoke passionately about her dogs and never failed to inquire about mine. She will be missed. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Dear Karen,
Your mother will be missed by so many. she was an active member of many organizations in Cazenovia, not the least of which is CAVAC - the volunteer ambulance, where she was a dispatcher scheduler for 15 years. I valued every phone conversation we had regarding dispatchers.
Also, Hume, my husband, was president of CRIS while Nancy was treasurer.
We are so sorry for your loss, and for ours. Our thoughts are with you.
"What we once enjoyed and deeply loved, we can never lose.
For all that we love deeply becomes a part of us."
Sincerely, Peggy Laidman, Cavac dispatcher and scheduler

I mourn the loss of a spirited, cheerful, capable lady, generous with her time and talents. I knew Nancy chiefly through Garden Club, where she was a quietly dedicated and active member. My heart and sincere condolences go out to her family. Weren't we lucky to be graced with her presence!

Nancy was a remarkable woman. She was so caring, intelligent and thoughtful of others. I feel privileged to have known her and to consider her my friend. She was a true PEO sister in every sense. I will always remember her, the good times we had and how generously she shared her knowledge and time with others.
