Dear Teitsch Family, my deepest sympathies go to your family. Jack and Anne have a tender place in my heart. I loved being your parent’s neighbor for 15 years! Your parents were always a joy to visit. I loved sharing garden treasures and walks in their woods and pastures! Your mom and dad’s love of life was evident in their continuous labors of love in their gardens and home! They were so kind to me for which I am grateful! Blessings to your family!

All of you Teitsch “kids” (yup—still Teitsch “kids”) know how much your dad meant to us. So many memories to recall (celebrating the millennium together and saying, “We probably won’t be here for the next one”) and stories to tell (your dad saying he and our daughter had been on a first name basis for YEARS; she was seven at the time). It was our great good fortune to have known him—and your mom. The close ties between our two families has always been, and still is, a huge blessing in our lives, way more than just two architects running an office together. We remember with joy hearing about the accomplishments each of you had through the years, sharing family picnics together, Christmas gatherings, 4th of July races and fireworks, and so much more. Add to that, your mom and dad were Johanna’s godparents, and your mom was Michael’s Confirmation sponsor. Who could ask for more! We are so very sorry that we could not arrange to be in Cazenovia in time to be with you now. But, we have tucked all of you next to our hearts, and that’s where we’ll keep you. And while we feel a great loss at your dad’s passing, we take comfort in imagining the grand reunion in Heaven. God Bless each of you, Bob and Jean Kent

To Jack's family, I had the distinct pleasure to work with your dad on a number of "church" related projects. Some architects can build nice "boxes"; your dad had this uncanny ability to place himself in the space-a real spiritual, feeling reality. He made dreams come true in the form of not only buildings but in spaces that are Sacred! He was humble and quiet-unlike many today! A unique, lovely guy! My thoughts and prayer for you and your families. I would love to see him in "the HOUSE of the Lord"! Denny Hayes
