So sorry for your loss. My memory of Content was our long drive together when back in 1981 I gave her a ride to Pennsylvania. We enjoyed each other’s company and had pleasant and interesting conversations.

Charity and Grant,
So sad and sorry to read of your mom's passing. She was always of wit and wisdom and there certainly is a bit of her in each of you (a good thing!). Peace and prayers to you both. May God Bless.

Dear Charity and Grant - So sorry to hear that your mom died this month. I hadn't seen her for a while, but I've admired her since I first met her many years ago. She was always herself and never afraid to dress like the individual she was. I loved her dry wit that was sometimes so subtle you could only tell her meaning by that twinkle in her spectacular blue eyes. One of my most favorite memories of Content -- who some people might not know was a hell of a sailor -- was one snowy day when your dad, Sam, and I were going to tow my dad's boat up the lake to take it out at the north end. "Mind if I come?" she said, looking out at the quarter-sized flakes. Not wasting any time, she tossed on some bedroom slippers and a bathrobe and off we went - your dad in the powerboat and Content and I behind in the sailboat. At times we couldn't even see your dad, but I'll always remember the fun she and I had ... and the memory of laughing about what the "h" we were doing there out in the blinding snow.
If you wanted to make a list of outstanding characters of Cazenovia, and I mean that in a flattering way, Content would be up near the top. For years I only knew her through boating ... but that was such a small part of who she was.
Best wishes to you both and your family,
Jody
