Obituary of Irene Gapski

Irene E. Gapski, 78, of Erieville, died Sunday at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. Irene retired Post Master for the Erieville Post Office in 1992. Following her retirement, she worked at Crouse Community Center. She was a member of the Erieville Fire Department Auxiliary. She played in numerous Bridge clubs and loved bowling. She is predeceased by her husband Stanley. Surviving are her daughter, Robyn Marris (Richard) of Erieville; her son, Scott of Fenner; her sister, Barbara Williams(Richard) of Cicero; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be from 2-4 PM on Sunday at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc. 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia, with a service to follow. Burial will be in Erieville Cemetery.
