Melissa and Family - Tom and I were very, very young childhood friends. When we were still in diapers, we were next door neighbors, and my Mother told me stories of the two of us toddling around together, turning on the outside faucets and playing in the mud. Tom was my first "boyfriend" - in kindergarten. In sixth grade I remember sledding down a hill with him and other neighbors when my dog Pepper got hit by a car. He also had a black dog named Pepper and it took me a minute to figure out which Pepper had been hit. I always knew Tom was a good man, even though I didn't know him in high school nor as an adult. We both attended our 50th Algona class reunion, and took some time to reconnect. I'm glad he was there. You are all very fortunate to have had him as a husband, father, brother, Uncle, Grandpa. My heart is heavy for his passing and for your loss. God Bless - Becky Hemmingsen

Tom had way with the girls… this was a few years before he met Melissa….the girls loved him, and liked to tease him…. And men liked to hang out with him in the garage talking about engines… oh, and drinking beer!! Tom was the best!!! Oh, and sorry Tom, but I had to included this pic of you in your bedroom waiting for the phone to ring…. This was early in your career and you were in between jobs……oh, and think the bra should go under your shirt……Everyone loved Tom (Snyds) and he will be missed.
