Tom was such a nice guy to my father, Paul Lightcap, and my Mom, Jeanette who both loved Vernon Downs and Harness Racing! We did not win much but win or lose we sure had a good time. Thanks Tom!

I have such fond memories of the track with Mr. Walters and my best friend Heather. He was always good for a ride home after being out with the gang when we were in high school. Rest in peace.

Tom was such an awesome guy. He always had great advice and a sensible perspective when I needed an ear. He was so good to my daughter, his grand daughter Riley. My heart aches for all in the family as I know how much he was loved by all and how much he will be missed.
