Ann E. Babcock, 88, of Cazenovia, died Saturday at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. Ann was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on December 3rd 1924, the daughter of the late William and Victoria Ramsay. She was a member of the Cazenovia United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Altar Guild. Ann was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. Ann loved bowling and bowled in various leagues until the age of 85.
Ann is pre deceased by her husband, Howard E. in 1997 and daughter Lynn in 2010. Surviving are her daughter, Lauran Throop of Clayton; her son Brian of Morrisville; her sister Vickie Rich of Homer, Alaska; six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10am Monday at the Cazenovia United Methodist Church, 21 Lincklaen Street, Cazenovia. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 3-5 Sunday at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc. 2333 Fenner Road, Cazenovia. Contributions may be made to the Cazenovia United Methodist Church.
