Obituary of Patricia L. Botto

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Patricia L. “Patty Lou” Botto, cherished mother, grandmother, and sister. Patricia peacefully passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. She was born in Downingtown, Pennsylvania on June 7, 1947 to Joseph A. and Monica E. Sheehy. A loving mother to Michael, grandmother to Jack, Gwyneth and Gavin, and devoted sister to Monica, Patricia's warmth and spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Patricia loved a good party and those that knew her know she brought the antics with her. True to her spirit she was often "fashionably late" to events, making her departure feel all too soon. She lived with a vibrant spirit, a sharp wit, and a generous heart. Her sense of humor and style were unmatched, and she made people feel seen and loved in her own effortless way. Patricia's joyful spirit and kind heart left an indelible mark on friends and family alike. As one friend said, "I was better off for having known her." Patricia is survived by her husband, Francis J. Botto of Pottstown, PA; her son and daughter-in-law, Francis M. “Mike” and Dr. Karin Lynn Botto of DeRuyter; her sister, Sr. Monica Sheehy of Merion Station, PA; her grandchildren, Jack Michael Botto, Gwyneth Clare Botto and Gavin Thomas Botto. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Rest in peace, Mom. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Parish in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
