Oh, Mrs. Carr, such an angel. You survived FIVE Wright children...and even welcomed Gail and me to Cazenovia. You gave us our start as organists...and it was so incredibly intimidating to have you in the congregation at a funeral! I still play through old music and love to see your beautiful handwriting on the various pieces. Thank you for the years of encouragement, kind words, endless jigsaw puzzles, talent, knowledge. Thank you for nurturing the gift of music. Thank you for touching so many lives and hearts.

We remember Mary as a very kind and gentle person. She always had a bright smile and seemed so very happy and proud of her husband,George and her family. I remember both her and George like it was yesterday. Those were great memories back in their boating days when they would stop into Pirate's Cove Marina Restaurant. They both enjoyed life and their love for each other was amazing. God bless you Mary...We know George is right there to greet you at the pearly gates. Love & Prayers. Roxanne & Jimmy

Your Mom was such a special person. I remember spending a few days and nights at your house and we went to a lake and you all tried to teach me to water ski. She played at my wedding and made it so special. I never got to take piano lessons from her but Sharry, Gail and Cindy did and I know how much they all loved your Mom. I have thought of her frequently throughout the years and she will be missed.

The memories I cherish from the 3rd grade of having your Mom teach me piano, first in Canastota and then in Cazenovia. She gave me the love of piano. Even when I became an organist in 11th grade, your Mom gave me pointers at each of my piano lessons. And when she showed up at a wedding I was playing at years later, she told me "more pedal." Jeff and I were so pleased 9 years ago that you were able to bring her to our wedding even with her Alzheimer's diagnosis, so similar to my Mom's diagnosis. I will miss her smile, and I thank her for everything she taught me.
