To the forest I'm drawn with my sorrows & strains,To the trees I discuss all my horrors & pains.As I return to the world the battle's at hand,My ghosts are ambushed as the trees take my stand. Horrors no match for the beauty of home,from my brothers & sisters my strength again grown.I walk away free as the battle concludes, My pains & my horrors somehow subdued. As I turn back once more to my brethren & kin,I find not my torment But beauty within. I turn once again still shocked & in awe,With not but my words to record what I saw.& my tears find my cheeks half cocked in a grin,as I'm hugged by the forest & kissed by the wind.So now armed & reborn with this strength I have gained ,I turn to those loved ones still reeling in pain.& I try to pass on an idea so devine,Yet as old & as simple as the passing of time.So listen please now with your souls not your ears,& you'll find that your laughter soon replaces your tears.Please trust what I say you can feel in your heart,This is not a sad ending ,But a beautiful start. For no soul truly dies,they are merely set free.& their beauty surrounds you in all that you see....By Robert J clark I wrote this for my family to try to explain what I was shown at the time my sister penny passed...& I read it to them at her funeral...as I read the wind blew so hard as if to say I Love you all Goodbye...& when I finished speeking the wind stopped still.It is no less true for my brother Rusty & our family & loved ones now...& no less heart felt by me... I love you all & my prayers are with you...Has anybody here seen my old friend Rusty...can you tell me where he's gone ???I think I saw him walking over the hillside...with Timmy ,Penny,& Tom !!!
