My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. As requested, a donation has been made to Post 88 in Ken's memory. I remember KEN well, as I do the whole family, going all the way back to when he bought Wilcox Paper. I always thought he did that so the whole family would have jobs. It worked !! KEN was a good guy !!

Oh, what a heavy heart right now. Uncle Ken always had a smile, a laugh, and let's not forget a flirtation! He lit up the room when he entered. He will be dearly missed. My best to Aunt Barb and the wonderful family they raised! Uncle Ken accomplished a lot in his life, but his legacy is his family! Love to all!

So sorry to hear of the passing of Ken Sparks. He was a very nice man and a joy to talk to. I had a lot of fun talking to him and Barbara at all of the SU football games. They sat a few rows behind me. I got the biggest kick that their names as a couple were Ken and Barbara.

Many fond memories of Ken when I joined the DeWitt Fire Department in the 50's.
He showed me the ropes on Ladder Company #3 and of course the "clambakes".
It was my honor to have known him, rest in peace my friend.

I was sorry to hear about Ken's passing. I knew him only briefly when my father worked at BilMar and Wilcox. Their stories are so similar regarding WWII Pacific Theatre. I'm sure they had discussed that. Ken was obviously a remarkable man. My condolences and best wishes to the family.
