Debbie was a wonderful soul. Although known for french, she taught me many years of Spanish in middle school! I lived on Wellington Drive, and she lived right outside the neighborhood, and I have the funniest memories of waddling down to her house on halloween in our snowsuits for the best chocolates! She was always so sweet and gave the best candy, and said “I’ll be your teacher someday.” And she was lol! What a wonderful woman. I feel so blessed to have so many (little) childhood memories with her, and then memories of her teaching me in middle school! She has always been such a beauty, so delicately hilarious, and just a joy. I miss her lots and wish her family the best. You boys are so lucky to have such a wonderful mother like her, she is truly one of a kind

Mr. Taube and Family ~
Debbie is and will always remain one of my favorite French teachers. I was inspired by her to become a French teacher myself, and that she is a great role model for her fellow students.
I was a French teaching assistant in 2009-2010 in her room, working side by side with her 7th grade French class; in that I've enjoyed every day that I worked with her.
May she rest in peace. I don't have the words.

I remember Debbie's bright and cheerful disposition in high school, especially in band. She was always perky, even when the obnoxious boys in the lower brass - like me - picked on the woodwinds.
I enjoyed reconnecting with Debbie and Terry several years after high school and seeing the young family grow.
May Debbie be remembered eternally and may God comfort and strengthen you all in her absence.

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Debbie's passing last Friday. I received an invitation to our 40th High School reunion yesterday. I started reminiscing about high school classmates with my husband, Patrick, last evening. I am not on Facebook, but decided to Google a few classmates who I knew well. Debbie Wright Taube was the first I googled. Needless to say, I was stunned to see an obituary in her name...Debbie was one of my first new friends upon moving to Beaver Falls with my family in 1967. She attended my 10th birthday party! We spent 5 years together studying French under Sharon Vowles, 8th through 12th grades. I remember fun trips to Ottawa and Montreal!
Debbie was an amazing intellect and an incredibly kind and good person. I know she will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. I send my most heartfelt condolences to Terry and family at this difficult time. With thoughts and prayers,

Dear Taube Family,
Our family has many wonderful memories of Debbie and your family. Marty especially remembers the many times he was invited to the lake and your home. She was very nearly like a second mother to him and he is very broken up about this. Lottie remembers her as a wonderful French substitute teacher at Homer. Lottie recounted her anecdotal sharing as well. She feels Debbie was authentic and this is what she admired the most about her. Martin and I recall seeing her in the hospital 2 years ago. She was so concerned for the welfare of our preemie grandson that she cried about the pain he must have been enduring. In all, Debbie was a beautiful Christian who followed in the steps of her Savior and she will be missed by so many.

Mr. & Mrs. Wright, Jamie, Terry and children/grandchildren, I am so very sorry for your loss. I had no idea that things had become this bad so fast, and tears are streaming as I write this. Debbie was my first friend when I moved to Beaver Falls, and I have many memories of good times spent with her throughout the years. She was such a kind, special person...someone who always thought of others first. Although I haven't seen her since her children were young and the family visited us in Maine, I am glad we were able to keep in touch over the years. Her family was everything to her, and she was fortunate enough to have a wonderful husband, children, and those adorable grandchildren of hers! She told me many times that she enjoyed a great life.
