Hey Brucey it's David Scanlon John's son your cousin lol. Sorry for the late response but my life isn't going so well for me. And yes I know only I can change my path. If only it were that easy man. I always wonder about Chris and Jimmy how they doing I'm 44 now don't know how much longer I will be here as well I don't do right for myself and that is a problem all in its own. I just need to say I miss you so much. I remember all the good times we had growing up together and all of the times you stuck up for me in school when we were being picked on and we told each other we would never let anybody mess with us.I also would like to say bruce and I never looked at jimmy as anything but are big brother. Letting You Go my one true rock a shoulder in which I could rely for whenever I was angry or when I needed a good cry. you were the strongest man that I had ever knew but when I saw you in that hospital bed your feet were turning so blue. "there's no chance" the doctor would say no matter what we could do we could not make you stay. unresponsive, unable to speak, unable to feel anything but pain everything that they could do would all be in vain. "stop the test" we ordered "keep him as comfortable as can be" as hard as it was for us we had to set him free. the next Day slowly drifted by all that I could do was hold your hand and cry. for here is this man the strongest man I ever knew and I couldn't figure out how I'd survive in this crazy world without you. and as you took your final breathes tears formed in your eyes for as hard as it was for us it was hard for you to say goodbye. God said it was your time so you slowly picked your hands up and held them to the sky you took your final breathes and just like that.....you were gone. I know you're with God now dancing and being free and when we get to Heaven we will all get to see. see you and your smiling face laughing, and walking pain free we'll get to say our I love you's we'll be as happy as can be. until then I'll miss your more and more each day no matter what I do the world is a far lonelier place without you. I love you Bruce and I'll miss you more than you'll ever know as much as this hurts me----I'm letting you GO
