Sorry to hear of Maureen's pasting. I first met her ( and Dennis ) while attending DeWitt Community Church. She made her mark while she was there, starting the first Vacation Bible School and inspiring many with her vision for serving the children and the church community. I still remember the many hours she and her family spent preparing and doing the many needed tasks to make it a success, and it was. She started something that continued long after she let the DeWitt church. She left her mark on so many people. She will be missed and remember for all she did.

May the God of comfort grant the family and friends of Mrs. Murphy peace at this sad time. The Bible gives us a promise form God that very soon, no resident will say, "I AM SICK". ( Isaiah 33:24)

Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Know that God is aware of the tears you are shedding. (Psalm 56:18) He will soon do what is said at Acts 24:15, which promises us of a resurrection of our loved ones. May that bring you hope. Take comfort in your good memories and allow your family and loving friends to help you through this difficult time

I am so sorry for your great loss. I knew Maureen in high school and was a fellow cheerleader. She definitely was the cutest cheerleader but she was so down to earth. She had a wonderful serious, compassionate side but also a fun sense of humor. She was truly beautiful inside and out and the whole community will miss her generous spirit.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. I met Maureen in Oswego when I interviewed her for the RA job that she ultimately was given. It was an easy decision for me and the other interviewers to give her that spot. It was an honor to be considered one of her friends.

I had the privilege of meeting Mo about fifteen years ago, through my cousin Dianne DeCarlo Pregnant at the time, we spoke about homeschooling and she was such an inspiration to me. Fifteen years later I am still homeschooling my 9th grader. It's been a few years since I have seen her, but I will always remember the joy that she radiated and her beautiful laugh! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dearest Murphy and Perkins families:
Every word of this obituary is so very true. Maureen was the kindest and most loving friend anyone could have been blessed with and I have been infinitely and eternally blessed. I will miss her quick wit and her comforting ways. She did not hesitate to take on the role of Godmother to my Emma who was born with Down Syndrome. I knew that Emma would be well cared for should the need ever arise.
My love and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. My heart aches with you but the promise of life eternal and seeing Mo again will guide my days through this time of mourning. May the peace of Christ be with you.
Love to you all,
Virginia
