I have fond memories of working with Warren, chasing "brown water" business in NY State. I remember when his car broke down on the way to Mayfield, but we still got there and "sold" the project. He taught me a lot and will be missed. RIP My Friend.

On Behalf of the NY Water Environment Association, please accept my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy on Warren's passing. I am sure this is a hard time for all of the family and we are thinking of you. What a gift he was to all of us! Warren had a unique way to convey in the written word complicated matters on water quality management that he shared through his articles in Clear Waters magazine. Warren and Ermaline would attend many NYWEA events and we shared fun moments together. I enjoyed our many conversations. Warren's style, grace and wit will be missed! My warm condolences.

Warren, Dianne & Alfred.....please accept my heartfelt condolences for the passing of your Dad. I had the privilege of knowing him for nearly forty years. In my humble opinion, he was truly a GIANT in our industry. Warren was a highly respected expert in both the mechanical aspect of the Rotating Biological Contactor technology and broadly, the wastewater treatment process from influent to discharge. He was a stickler for details and had a very keen eye for nuances. Personally, over the last seven years we became closer business associates and I valued our friendship beyond our professional interactions. I will sorely miss our sports discussions, primarily about his beloved Nittany Lions and the Big Ten (I'm a Wisconsin Badger fan). God bless your family at this very difficult time. Always full of incredible wit that with age seemed to become even more so. He had a way of making you laugh everytime you were with him. I've known Mr. Jones for over 40 yrs. There are but very few that compare to this wonderful man. My heart felt condolences. He lived a very full life and will be deeply missed!

Although we’ve been neighbors for over 30 years, I didn’t really get to know this remarkable man until I started renting his farm, some 12 or so years ago. If you were a bystander, you might think that the banter that we shared was adversarial. It couldn’t be further from the truth. Warren would dish it out and I would respond. Underneath that was mutual respect. At least i know I reprected him enormously. I will miss his quick wit, the banter, the help he would give me whenever something went wrong in the field, and most of all, I’ll just miss Warren. My deepest sympathies go out to the Jones family. It was a privilege to know this man.

To Warren, Dianne. and Alfred: My wife and I express our sympathy to you and your families for the loss of your dad. I remember him very well with the hunting times in PA. Warren, I believe you would come once in awhile, too. Dianne and Alfred, you are remembered also along with your mom. Mom passed the same year as your mother. My dad (Ron) is 4 months older than your dad. He took it pretty hard with lots of good memories from childhood to just two summers ago when your dad came for a class reunion event and visited the old homestead in Cherry Grove, PA. That is where our great grandparents settled when they first came over from Sweden/Denmark. The YHS scholarship has helped many students from Youngsville, including both of our kids as they attended college. Your dad and the class of 1950 initiated that scholarship. It is a great legacy for our youth in this area. I teach at Youngsville High School and my wife drives a school bus that delivers students there each day.
