Obituary of Willard Spaulding

W.E. (Pete) Spaulding, 84, of Erieville, died Saturday at his home. A native of Erieville, Pete graduated from the Cazenovia High School. He was an Army Veteran of WW II. Pete was a New York State Trooper from 1953 until his retirement in 1976. After retirement, he drove school bus for the Cazenovia Central School. He was a member of the Erieville United Methodist Church. Pete was predeceased by his wife Sybil in 1996. Surviving are his sons, Peter A. (Brenda) and Jeffrey S. (Tracey Stearns) both of Erieville; his daughters, Mary E. (Michael) Clark of Salt Lake City, Utah and Margaret A. (Scott Moon) Clark of Hamilton; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 10AM Thursday at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Road, Cazenovia. Burial will be in Erieville Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4-7 Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Erieville Cemetery Association.
