I knew Ernie when I was in Cond. Mach and Plastics, then reconnected again in Bldg 50. I enjoyed the conversations we shared when he stopped to talk. The older he became, the kinder and more caring I found him to be. May your family find peace and comfort in knowing he helped and taught many people. God Bless and my sincere condolences. He is thought of often.

Dear Sellen Family...
I'm very sorry for your lost. My favorite memory of your father was when I saw him dancing with Joannie at the Ozark Inn to the music of "Spanish Eyes"..I'm sure he will be greatly missed. Kelley Schram Prindle

I remember when my dad drove me to Texas to join my military husband. We went the wrong way on a one way street and we got pulled over by the police. Dad rolled down the window and said to the officer, "I'm in a heap a trouble, ain't I?" The office laughed so hard, talked for a few, called us "Damn Yankees" and sent us on our way! Dad could charm anyone.

I remember a time when my dad and I were driving over by the old Eatonbrook dam, and he noticed a beaver was caught between the steps of the dam. My dad walk around until he found an old board, and set the board up in a way that allowed the beaver to climb out to safety. We sat there for quite a while, until dad was sure the beaver was freed, before we left.
