Ralph George Embree, 69, of New Woodstock, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He was born July 16, 1951 in Syracuse to George and Beverly Embree and was a graduate of Liverpool High School. Ralph retired from Clinton’s Ditch in Cicero where he was employed as a truck driver (known as CB handle "Maple Leaf") for 15 years delivering Pepsi products throughout the Northeast. In years past, Ralph enjoyed hunting but more recently engaged in playing golf. Spending time snowmobiling with family and friends on the Madison County trails was one of his favorite past times. Ralph was an avid hockey fan, namely; of the NY Rangers. Ralph always looked forward to the Syracuse Nationals, attending classic car shows and cruising around town in his 1973 Dodge Challenger. He loved music and would use his disc jockey equipment to host events for his family and friends. Ralph was known as the type of person that would help anyone at any time. Ralph is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joni Embree; his daughter, Heather (fiance’ Fritz Weisbrod) Embree and by a nephew, Jason Copanus. In addition to his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his sister, Debbie Copanus and a nephew Christopher Copanus. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
