Barbara was one of the first people I connected with in Milwaukee when my company transferred me here in 1978 from Hot Springs, AR. Our relationship continued after her relocation to upstate NY. Her friendship during times of marriages, pregnancy, parenting, Greek Sisterhood, renovating homes, etc. always meant that I had a “down home” perspective from an amazing and compassionate confidante.

Ms. Hamilton was a remarkable woman. She loved her mother and son dearly and provided the best for them. She was smart and witty. She will be truly missed.

My dear friend Barbara was a phenomenal woman. We were like sisters from 1st grade until she departed. Even though we took separate paths after high school, we remained close through correspondence, visits and phone conversations. She never changed her philosophy of living life to the fullest, giving to those less fortunate, loving and caring for her mother and dedicating herself to a life of service for the good of others. She loved her only child Phi, and would move mountains to make sure he became the man she and Phillip raised him to be. Rest well Barbara. I will miss you tremendously.
