Some of my special memories with Uncle Bud are at the Sunderman Tree Farm. It was truly a labor of love for him. He taught me a lot about land stewardship and it was something we did as a family.

Rest in peace Bud. I met Bud through William McCall, his good friend in Manning, when I drove to South Carolina from Niagara Falls, Canada, for my annual golf trip. Bud was always so welcoming, so friendly and since Cazenovia really was not far from my home in Canada, we had a lot of conversations about life in the north. I enjoyed his company a great deal and was looking forward to seeing him last March but our golf trip was postponed and we were not able to cross the border. Thanks Bud for the good times we enjoyed together.
We are brief as summer lightning,
We are swift as swallow's flight.
We are sparks that spiral upward,
In the darkness, in the night.
We are frost up the window,
We won't pass this way again.
In the end, only love remains.
I know that Bud left much love behind...Les Potapczyk
