Obituary of Ramona Trush

Please share a memory of Ramona to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ramona "Pat" McDonnell Trush, 83, of Morrisville died Tuesday at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton. Pat was born on March 29, 1929 and she attended Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. She was predeceased by her dearly loved husband John Trush, Jr., whom she settled in Morrisville, New York where they raised their three children. Pat will be remembered most importantly for her love and devotion to her family and the special relationships she formed with her grandchildren and great grandchild. Pat's name was synonymous with P.E. Mulligans and Cazenovia Abroad, where with innate business sense and a love of historic buildings, developed two of Cazenovia's cornerstone businesses. She was awarded "Business Person of the Year" by the Association of Cazenovia Businesses as a tribute to this accomplishment and was instrumental in establishing Cazenovia's annual Christmas Walk. Pat was a well-traveled, consummate hostess, whose generosity and listening ear have earned her many deep friendships. She will be sorely missed. In addition to her husband, Pat is predeceased by her granddaughter Lily and her brother Charles McDonnell. She is survived by her longtime partner, Lennie Coleman; her children Glen (April) Trush of Georgetown, Doug Trush and Lisa (Cal) Nichols of Morrisville; her grandchildren Becca, Seth, Juli, John, Isaac and Phoebe and great granddaughter Isabella. Funeral Services will be Monday February 4th at 11 am at the TAIT FUNERAL HOME, INC.. Calling Hours will be Sunday February 3rd from 2-4 pm at Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Road, Cazenovia. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Welsh Church C/O Kathy Jones PO Box 565 Cazenovia, NY 13035.
