Obituary of Faith Rohrs Dickinson

Faith Rohrs Dickinson, 82, of Cazenovia, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021. She was born June 23, 1939 in the Bronx to Frederick and Helen Rohrs. Faith was a graduate of Johnstown High School in 1957 and she attended Syracuse University. Faith was the owner of Sign of the Lion Antiques in Cazenovia for several years and was a member of the Cazenovia Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, collecting antiques, was a fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Syracuse Symphony; loved Mickey Mouse, riding her scooter around town and picking wildflowers. Faith was an intelligent woman who will be remembered for her sense of humor, strong will and her independence. Faith is survived by her children, Rick Dickinson, Jennifer (Dickinson) Linsey and Daniel Dickinson; her sister, Jane Cappadozy and by her grandchildren, Megan Dickinson, Brandon and Tyler Sofia. In addition to her parents, Faith was predeceased by her husband of 20 years, Frank M. Dickinson III in 1980 and by her brother, Frederick Rohrs. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, November 19, 2021 at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia. A calling hour will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2021 at the funeral home prior to the service. Private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Cazenovia.
