Obituary of Herbert Grubb

Herbert L. Grubb, 89, formerly from Jamesville, died January 13th in Winter Haven Florida. He was a partner in Exit 10 Truck Repair in East Syracuse from 1974-1982. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II and was a member of Sampson WW II Navy Veterans Association as well as an avid supporter of disabled veterans.
He and his family enjoyed a camp in the foothills of the Adirondacks for 45 years. They spent time traveling throughout the United States in their motor home.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Rosemarie (Hungerford) Grubb; his daughters, Cheryl Myers (Terry) of Las Vegas, NV, Crystal Gaskell of Cazenovia; his sons, Eric (Janice) of Canton GA, David of Cazenovia, Willis (Sharon) of Princeton, MO, and James F. of Jamesville; his brothers, Robert of Canisius and Fred of St. Augustine, FL; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and several nieces nephews and cousins.
A memorial service and burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Jamesville at a later date.
