Im sorry for your loss Gene was a great guy, I was going take Gene out for the day and then covid hit. I havent been able to see him in over 9mos. I enjoyed the time I spent with him playing cards and Bingo at the grand. He was a proud of his family and loved to introduce them. Holly loved to sit on his lap, when I would visit the Grand I would bring the dog and or books for him. Im going to miss him, Gene RIP, and God Bless Your Family.

Our sincere condolences to the family. Gene was such a kind, humble, and caring gentleman. We were blessed to have known him. Gene enjoyed our music ministry at The Grand. We were thrilled when he began accompanying us on his washboard. It sounded great! What fond memories we have of him. He is greatly missed! Rich and Linda Curtis

We were not enough lucky enough to know Unk, our loss, for he sounds like a dear guy, not to be forgotten. Poker, growing tomatoes, and reading....what more does one need? And, a lawn mower parade?! Love it! Hold all those memories close.
Good thoughts, Larry and Pat Carr

My Dad and U-Gene have been great friends for many years. They always stayed in contact and my Dad would go visit Gene in Chittenango and "break" Gene out to go get an ice cream together. When that wasn't allowed they would sit outside and enjoy an ice cream there. They played Tuesday Night poker games together and were always telling stories and laughing. He will be surely missed. We are sending love and prayers to all of you in the family.

I will miss Gene every day until we can be together again. Please let me know when you hold a lawnmower celebration. John 14: 1-3. John Risley
