Dear Romagnoli and Delmore Family, I was so deeply saddened to hear of Ellen's passing. She and I were in high school together, but it wasn't until college that we became great friends! We lived in the same dorm, and she made me feel so welcome my freshman year! When she pledged AD that year she borrowed a pair of my sneakers, because she didn't have any. When I got them back they seemed to have shrunk! It wasn't until the following year when I pledged AD that I found out what happened to my sneakers! Ellen was my "big sister" in our sorority, and we lived together over one of the summers at Oswego. Ellen was sweet, funny, full of love and life!! To the entire Romagnoli family, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Ellen from High School. She always had an amazing smile and was one of the nicest, kindest people I know. I can't imagine what you're going through, but know she touched many people with her positive spirit. Thank you to MaryKate and Elizabeth for sharing this on Facebook. A bunch of us who moved out of the Rochester area lost touch and was so grateful to reconnect with her, mainly to see how happy she was with her family, including the four legged family. I hope you can find comfort in knowing how bright her spirit and heart was and how much she was appreciated. Sincerest sympathy and hugs. She is gone far too soon, but know her indomitable spirit will be remembered and missed.

The only significant amount of time I spent with Ellen was during her daughter’s wedding in Colorado because MaryKate and I are best friends. I showed up to the wrong house before the rehearsal dinner and Ellen looked confused for a split second but she immediately welcomed me in with open arms and she and Jerry rearranged the whole car so they could give me a ride. Truly the most generous spirit, which she certainly passed on to her children. Lots of love to all the family at this time.

Jerry and family, I am so saddened by this news . Ellen was such a sweetheart and always very pleasant and kind to me. I enjoyed working with her on the PTSA when the kids were in school. May she Rest In Peace and my thoughts are with the entire Romagnoli family.
