I met you on several occasions. You were a man of great character and decency. A great man, husband and father. Your mechanical prowess was immeasurable. You always gave of yourself to others before yourself. It was an honor knowing you.

Stanne & Family, Do not cry, he's only away, gone to heaven forever to stay. He left his earthly life one sunny day when angels took him away. He now lives in the land of heavenly bliss, plays in fluffy clouds and golden mist. He flys down the milkey way on gossimer wings, listens to an angel choir as they sing. Steve is at peace now, and lives with our Lord. There he'll dwell forever more. Some day we'll be together again, when I meet him in heaven at my life's end, -until then, HE'S JUST AWAY. You all have wonderful memories that you will cherish forever. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Ever met someone and just clicked right away? For us that was Steve and Stanne. THE best neighbors one could ever have. It was always a fun surprise to see what he would show up driving for his daily visits. Always willing to help us with whatever we had going on at our place. You made us laugh with your stories. Welcomed us into your family and then we went and moved (for which we are still #@&$*@×$). You truly were one of a kind and we will miss you forever. For you I will work on my baking skills Steve! Love you. Thank you for being my friend ❤

From playing with your John Deere toys when we were tots, to seeing your accomplishments in life, I wasn't done getting to enjoy you as a brother (in law).
